In West York, our purpose is twofold: 1) create opportunities for our students to thrive, and

The annual Cardboard Challenge was held on Nov. 21st at Trimmer Elementary! This event is an opportunity for K-5 families to engage in creative play as they design and build something using cardboard. Each year the Challenge has a different theme - this year it was Arctic Adventure, aligned to the Elementary Scholastic Book Fair theme. It is AMAZING to watch our families have fun as they create something unique. This event is inspired by Caine's Arcade.

Random Acts of Science!
High School teachers Mr. David Arrow and Mr. Andrew Rafferty created sublimation using dry ice during "Random Acts of Science," a WY pop-up classroom that occurred during Lunch and Learn this past week. They demonstrated using dry ice to move directly from a solid to a gas without going through the liquid phase.
